What these terms cover
These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you.
Why you should read them
Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. 3. Our Contract with You
Order Acceptance
We will confirm your order by email, which creates a contract between us.
If We Cannot Accept Your Order
If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you by email or phone and won’t charge you.
Order and Delivery Area
We only accept orders and delivers within Jersey, Channel Islands.
4. Our Products
Product Images
The images on our website are for reference only. Your product and its packaging may look different.
Age Restrictions
When you place an order for products that have age restrictions, you are confirming that you meet the required age. If we have reason to believe that you do not meet the age requirements, we will cancel your order immediately.
5. Changes and Availability
Out of Stock Items
If an item is out of stock, we will substitute it with an item of equal or greater value at no extra cost. If no suitable substitute is available, we will issue a refund for the missing items.
Changes to Products
We may change products to comply with legal requirements or make minor improvements that won’t affect their use.
Major Changes
If we make significant changes to a product or these terms, we will notify you. You may cancel your order and request a refund if you do not accept these changes.
6. Your Rights to Make Changes
Requesting Changes
If you want to change your order, contact us. We’ll let you know if it’s possible and inform you of any changes in price or delivery.
7. ORDER TOTAL & PAYMENT
Online Pre-authorisation
Most of our meat products are priced per kilogram. The prices in our online shop are calculated using the weight you enter when placing your order.
Orders are individually prepared by our skilled butchers and the final weight may be slightly higher or lower than the weight you chose.
To account for potential weight variations, we place a pre-authorisation hold on your card for 20% more than the final price shown at checkout. This is a temporary hold, not a charge, and ensures we can cover the final cost once your order is prepared.
When your order is packed, we’ll charge your card for the exact amount based on the final weight. If the final price is lower than the pre-authorised amount, you’ll only be charged the lower price, and the difference will be released back to your card.
Any unused portion of the pre-authorised hold will be released back into your account. This usually happens within a few days of your order being processed and the exact timing depends on your bank’s policies.
We will never charge more than 20% above the final price you see at checkout. If the final price exceeds this limit, we’ll contact you before proceeding. There is no limit on how much the price can decrease.
You will receive a notification with the exact weight and final price once your order is prepared. The final charge will be processed at that time.
If you prefer not to have a pre-authorisation hold on your card, please contact our customer service team before placing your order to discuss alternative arrangements.
Payment for Collections
If you are collecting your order from store you can choose to either pay the exact amount upon collection or pre-authorise payment as above.
8. Delivery and Collection
Delivery Costs
Delivery is free for orders over £50. Orders under £50 incur a £7.50 fee.
Delivery Dates
You can select a delivery date during the checkout process. Next Day delivery is available on all orders received before 10pm.
Delays Outside Our Control
If we experience delays outside our control, we will inform you. You can cancel your order and request a refund if the delay is substantial.
Collection
You can select a collection date during the checkout process. Orders can be collected at any time when our store is open. Your order will be prepared on the day of collection. If you don’t collect within two days, the order will be cancelled without a refund.
Missed Deliveries
If you’re not home when delivery is attempted, and haven’t provided alternative instructions, we’ll return the order to our store. It is your responsibility to rearrange collection or delivery. We may charge an additional delivery fee.
9. Your Rights to End the Contract
Cancelling Orders
You can cancel your order up to 72 hours before dispatch for a full refund. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of delivery, contact us immediately. We’ll do our best to assist, but cancellations may not be possible if the order is already processed.
Ending the Contract
You can end the contract if:

- We make significant changes you don’t agree with.
- We notify you of an error in price or product description.
- We can’t deliver the products due to external events.
No Right to Change Your Mind
You can’t change your mind for perishable goods, unsealed items for hygiene reasons, or products mixed with others.
Refunds
We will refund you as soon as possible after cancellation, minus any applicable deductions for handling or delivery.
10. How to End the Contract
Contact Us
Call or email us with your order details to cancel.
Returning Products
If you’ve received the products, return them sealed unless they’re perishable. We may charge for collection.
11. Our Rights to End the Contract
If You Break the Contract
We may end the contract if you don’t pay, provide necessary information, or fail to arrange delivery. We may deduct reasonable costs from any refund.
12. If There’s a Problem with the Product
Contact Us
If you’re unhappy with the product, contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We’ll address your concerns promptly.
